“Large room with beautiful views”

“Staff was great, cleaning services in room were exceptional with personalized notes being left for us. We'd go back for sure :)”

“I found this to be very well maintained, clean and quiet. For a one night stay that’s all I really want. The area around the place seemed a little odd - condos next door and some sort of commercial operation across the street but no real problem with that. There was in fact a water view but it was kind of meh and not a compelling reason to pay more to stay there. The continental breakfast was basically next to nothing unless you like pre wrapped processed food items like twinkies. Crazy……

“Had we known this property was going through a remodel of some kind we never would’ve stayed. Staff really wasn’t friendly… breakfast wasn’t that good. No batter for the waffle maker… breakfast sausage definitely recooked/ overcooked. In comparison to the AmericInn we stayed at in Manitowoc last month which was a strong 9, this was a 4 and that’s being generous. We were hoping to relax for a couple of days vs dodging construction workers. The pool room was piled with boxes, and just junk. We……

“I stayed in the oldest hotel part of this vintage resort comprised of multiple related buildings spread out around a large block. You have to realize what you are getting--a very simple square room in an historic building with last century charm and lots of beautifully maintained antiques in the halls. Small room, a real key, old fashioned minimal carpet, tiny bathroom with vintage everything, but clean, with fresh white towels and an antique looking bed with a brand new mattress and crisp white……

“Receptionist was doing the best they could but working in an adjoined conscience store along with the hotel at the same time. Waited at least 15 minutes for them to come to the front desk after being paged but the gentleman in line ahead of me.”

“The entire property was lovely, we had access to all amenities and there were shuttles that took us to all restaurants and the Sports core. Our room was clean and loved the bathroom! A very nice breakfast was included and coffee available all day. Happy hour offered a free beer or glass of wine and a full bar to purchase a drink. The staff was extremely helpful. They are expanding this property and it looks fantastic”

“Heck in had no front desk. It was very difficult for my elderly parents who are not tech savvy. They had a very hard time getting g in the room. When they finally got in, the room was great. It was clean and had comfortable beds.”

“Very comfortable room and nice hotel . My only complaint is about Expedia! It’s impossible to have a live conversation if you have to make an adjustment to the reservation. The only option is a AI chatbot or a Chat with an agent after working your way through the Chatbot . Better to book directly with Holiday Inn Express. Even then, I couldn’t talk directly to the Hotel and could only talk to the corporate customer service representatives. But at least I could have a real conversation with them.”

“I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. So we called the number on the office door, and were told that the room with one bed is all they had available. If we wanted to wait until someone could come from……
