"This is a beautiful hotel with very welcoming staff and excellent rooms! I was staying in a triple room with a balcony, and had a great experience. The room is designed to take advantage of a small space, but my friends and I didn't feel like it was cramped at all. There's also a bakery in the lobby that makes some delicious croissants and other baked goods. My only note would be that the hotel doesn't have many dining options outside and even the closest konbini is a 5 minute walk away....

"We stayed for 7 nights at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku. It is in an excellent location, walkable to most sights in Shinjuku. The train station is across the street with access to the subway right next door. I highly recommend getting the buffet breakfast. It has excellent variety with traditional and Western choices. The hotel is clean, excellent staff and decent sized room."
