“Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Nguyen Shack so much! There is such lovely views from the room and eating area. The yoga was amazing and it was so convenient having breakfast there every AM, The staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met,., they truly want you to feel at home. My kids LOVED all of the animals and spent hours hanging out with them. We rented scooters and drove the route they recommended and stopped at Paradise cave. It was such a stunning drive. “If you are looking to experience rural Vietnam with spectacular views and unmatched hospitality, this is the place to be at. Right by the river, the boat rides to the Phong Nha caves are literally minutes away. Serene and quiet - A Little Leaf provides value for price. The host was remarkable. Phuong speaks excellent English and was able to arrange transport coming in and dropping us all the way off to Da Nang. He also organized both the Phong Nha and Paradise cave tours for us as well as……

“The rooms were big, spacious and clean. Breakfast was a good and basic. I enjoyed the banana pancakes. But I found the female owner wasn’t very friendly unless you booked tours with her. We hired bikes and grabs to get to the caves and points of interest. We didn’t join any tours, she stopped talking to us. The male owner was very pleasant and was lovely to deal with. ”
