"Our stay was fine. Unfortunately, I didnt realize that all of the bedrooms are on 2nd floor. Our doggie is too old to climb steps so I had to sleep on the couch downstairs to keep her from pacing all night. The fenced in backyard is a plus!"

"My friends and I really enjoyed this property. We all remarked at how well this older home had been renovated. The host Jon lived two houses away, so was on the spot when we had a bit of trouble using the locking mechanism. It's a quick walk through a college campus to get to fun breweries, good restaurants and a waterfront park. Highly recommend this affordable stay."

"Our family enjoyed this home. Because of the bad weather we were unable to enjoy all that they have available to enjoy the water. I got the most beautiful pictures of the sunset right from the back porch. The girls also enjoyed having a room for them to hang out. It was also so peaceful there."

"OMG I can't say enough good about this property. Beautiful location, great amenities (beach, picnic area, gentle horses and donkeys). Soft beds. Very nice bed linen, fully stocked kitchen, deck with very nice furniture. The owner responded immediately to my comments and allowed me to stay 2 hrs past check-out time. "Marge was a wonderful host, she gave us information on places to see and do. The home was exactly as described, and a great location. Check in was easy and home had everything we needed. If you are looking for a place near the Outer Banks and Virginia this is a great place. We traveled out to both places with no problems. We have used VRBO several times a year and Marge was the best host we've had. I would highly recommend this home."
