Super 8 by Wyndham Summersville/New River National Park

"Hubs, and I stayed the night at Super 8 in Summersville Wv for our anniversary, and I really enjoyed it. The room was clean, bathroom was stocked, and the bed was super nice and comfy. We were able to navigate through the hotel easily, and were able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about anyone bothering us, and it was a nice private space. Would definitely stay again. Noted this is more of an “adult”ish hotel if you will, which is fine. Not much for kids to do (mom of 4) but that is fine, especially if you wanted a one night get away like hubs and I did. Also they offer late checkout option, chefs kiss! Really appreciated that offer, the coffee was excellent, and staff were awesome!"

The inn itself is a remarkable piece of history, beautifully preserved while still providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. Walking through the property felt like stepping back in time, with each room and detail telling part of a larger story. What truly set this experience apart was the staff. They were attentive, engaged, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest felt at home. Their hospitality, knowledge of the property’s history, and willingness to assist with anything needed made a lasting impression. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, looking for a peaceful getaway, or simply searching for a unique lodging experience, the Moore House Inn delivers on every level. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future."

"What a great hostel!! The building is so great with wonderful architectural touches. Grounds are beautiful with picnic tables and a fire pit area. We stayed in the Cloud suite - which was the entire 3rd floor with private bath and kitchenette. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!"
