"This is a funky little place where you actually check in at the BP gas station next door! The people were great, and ice was available to purchase. We were actually a tiny bit disappointed that they had done away with the striped bedspreads pictured and "upgraded" to the white duvets you find everywhere else, but that was just for nostalgia's sake. For dinner we drove to the excellent Wooden Tie Cafe, just a couple miles away."

"The hotel was completely run down and unkept. The main lobby smelled of raw sewage, and the floors and carpet were completely disgusting. Additionally, the pull out couch was broken with the mattress springs popping out of the ripped fabric and very rusted. The couch cushions were stained and filthy with something very gross. The staff spoke broken English and couldn’t understand us, and would not give us extra pillows for the pull out bed. The outside areas around the hotel were littered with trash and debris also. Lastly, the air inside the hotel also reeked with a strong use of marijuana. will NEVER be staying here again, and will be contacting corporate about receiving a credit or partial refund. I strongly recommend that no one book a stay here. I’d rather pay more to stay at the drury inn further down or the holiday in express."

"As we booked through Hotels.com the staff refused to accept our reservation even after talking with Hotels.com. I paid in full when booking and then the hotel made me pay again!!! They did not appear to understand the third party payment system. After a phone call Hotels.com was able to rectify the problem and we were refunded, the second charge. All was good in the end."

"they have roaches in every room, i was switch 5 times to different rooms even different floors. they have bed bugs my daughters were bit up all over even on their faces, i complained to the staff with no help they can hardly understand you, housekeeping is extremely rude even when they’re at fault, they dry their own clothes outside all over just disgusting. the pool was filthy up until the day i checked out, the fitness room is a joke. it’s hot and muggy throughout the halls and good luck catching breakfast people come in and put 12 eggs on 1 plate leaving the pan empty and go back up to their room as repeat it th next day. in the final room i was in on the first floor 131 the picture fell on me in my sleep and i told the boss i’d assume and he was EXTREMELY rude and tried to belittle me as if the picture falling on my head in MY SLEEP was my fault. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE SERIOUSLY I BEG"

"We booked this hotel as out of town guests visiting St. Louis. Had no idea where we were staying. #1 it's in the ghetto. Bad roads literally and physically. #2 smells like pot. People was smoking pot and cigarettes just outside the front door. #3 We were charged a $100 incidental fee which still has not come off our account and we called the hotel and they sent us a receipt with no charge. There was no one at the check out as he was hustling breakfast and cleaning the lobby as well. My husband called and is now disputing with our bank. Be sure to check out and get a receipt! We could not. We were told "just leave keys". Just leave keys must be keep my incidental money. #4 breakfast was subpar. I used to work at a Quality Inn so I was expecting more than what was offered. My husband ate early and my son and I ate later in the morning. There was hardly anything. Sausage that you had to heat up and eggs. Waffle maker, that I was told didn't work the day before. . A bunch of white bread, 3 cereals,juice and milk. Bananas I had 1/2 a banana and half half of the waffle. I couldn't stomach anything else. I had to dig in a cabinet to find a fork. They were just laying in the drawer no wrappers. The room was standard for Quality Inn but the rest was subpar."
