"We came to Forest City to watch our son pitch for the Forest City Owls. The cottage was the perfect size, the beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet as well as close to everything in town. The owner, Lori, was very easy to work with and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again if our son plays for the Owls next summer."

"Our stay here was nothing short of perfection! The house was in the most beautiful location, it was spacious and clean, and the owners were helpful and attentive to our needs. "I could not rave about this property more! It is SPOTLESS, BEAUTIFUL, and INCREDIBLY more amazing than the listing shows! The views are spectacular, the amenities are perfection and we will 100% be back! The kitchen is gorgeous and well-stocked, the beds are SO comfortable, there is a TON of seating, the basement is PERFECT for kids and the outdoor activities are amazing! They provided use of 2 paddle boards and 3 kayaks and my kids spent the entire trip outside! I don’t know of anyone that...

"We enjoyed our stay at the property. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with plenty of privacy from the neighbors. We enjoyed the large porch and kitchen. Wish the porch were gated for the dogs and wish the master had a real door instead of the barn doors. Other than that, no complaints. It’s a great deal for a nice house. "

"This vacation home is perfect for a couple or a couple with a teen that wants their own space. The location was excellent. A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. We very much enjoyed waking up early in the morning, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony off the bedroom to watch the mist rise off the lake as the morning fisherman slowly moved past. We never saw anyone actually catch a fish...

"The location in the scenery the views were wonderful. There was a freshwater lake to float on and swim. There was boating and water tours a beach and gorgeous mountains to float around and look at all day if I chose there was Horseback Riding nearby if I wanted it, there was three restaurants available to me within a half a mile. Everyone was very accommodating very communicative and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The linens were very soft as always. I hate to leave. I’ve been coming here...

"Absolutely loved this little cabin! Was the most perfect getaway. Secluded and quiet, but still close enough to walk to the town of Chimney Rock and drive to Lake Lure. The screened in back porch was perfect to just sit and relax with great a breeze!! Everything was just as described, rustic and cozy. We will definitely be back to stay again."
