Adorable Guest House walking distance to Historic St. Augustine!

Charming guest house walking distance to all that downtown St Augustine has to offer. Built in 2017, this one bedroom, one bath, 500 SF apartment is located above our garage to accommodate guests in their own private setting. This property is an easy walk to both Uptown and Downtown St Augustine attractions. There are many restaurants just a short walk away including River and Fort, Raintree, Juniper Market, Borillo s pizza, Luli s cupcakes, and Mojos BBQ just to name a few.
This property includes a king size bed, 12 foot ceilings, ceiling fans, central heat & air, endless hot water on demand, 2 large screen smart TVs and high speed WIFI
Enjoy your own private entry to this upstairs apartment (approx 20 steps) with reserved, on site parking. This property does not have cable TV. The smart TVs have antenna reception which provides a hi def picture and receives all the major networks.
The kitchen does not include a range. There is a built in microwave, toaster oven and a griddle.
Downtown St. Augustine is best navigated on foot. Bicycles are not recommended as there are no safe provisions made for them on the roads or sidewalks.

What a wonderful, quaint retreat! Our stay was comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. The Shack was within walking distance to everything as well. Our hosts Melody and Ali were charming. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! Ali and Melody made us feel absolutely welcomed for our birthday weekend celebration. Clean and cozy walking distance to the historic district. We will definitely book with them again.

Perfect introduction to St. Augustine

This is a perfect location to explore St. Augustine. It is a quiet location but within walking distance of the main tourist attractions and great restaurants. The accommodation was stunningly attractive, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The hosts are wonderful. We would stay here again and again.

Husband birthday getaway

The property was just perfect for the both us. It was very comfortable and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and close to walk to see the shops and amusements. Melody made cookies that was very good. Host was very nice. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Absolutely Perfect!!

As an experienced traveler, I can honestly say this is one of my top 3 places I’ve stayed in. The home is stunning, the hosts were so friendly and you can’t beat the location with its proximity (5-10 minutes walk) to downtown St. Augustine. The modern amenities and design were very impressive. My partner and I can’t wait to stay here again!!

Amazing Stay

I am so glad we booked the Uptown Shack. Extremely clean, comfortable, quiet and great location. There are lots of small touches that make this place feel like home away from home. Great directions and communication from the hosts. Highly recommend booking this place for a stay in St. Augustine.

Great stay at Uptown Shack.

We had a wonderful time in St. Augustine. The Uptown Shack is a beautiful place to stay. Its’s clean, walking distance to everything we wanted to do and the hosts went beyond tp provide snacks, homemade cookies and most importantly bottled water!! If you get a chance, stay here. You won’t be sorry.

Fabulous Rental!

My daughter and I stayed in the Uptown Shack. It was so nice and clean! It was beautifully decorated! The bed was very comfortable. Our host, Melody, sent clear instructions and directions. She greeted us when we arrived. She also made homemade cookies for us and left us some of their local honey. There were snacks and drinks available to us in the rental. It was walkable to all of the things we wanted to do in St. Augustine. We loved this rental and would definitely stay again!!

We were spoiled!

Very comfortable and exceptionally clean apartment located within walking distance from the historic downtown area, the tour trolley, and many other local attractions in this amazing town. Melody, was host extraordinaire and spoiled us with the level of hospitality perks and treats provided, including fresh baked cookies.

Cozy little place!

Cute & cozy guest house. Short walking distance to St George Street and downtown St Augustine. 15 min drive to Vilano beach. Lots of yummy restaurants near by. We would recommend The Columbia Restaurant, but be sure to make a reservation if you’re going for dinner on a weekend. Would recommend this place for a nice little getaway!

Great getaway in Saint Augustine

We really enjoyed this neat little apartment. It was clean and new, the owners were very welcoming, and it was an easy walk to all of the fun things to do in Saint Augustine.
