“The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property……

“Beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We felt really welcome. Lovely dinner at “the Ship Inn”. We really E njoyed the “Lost Gardens of Heligan” and Charlestown which are conveniently located near the cottage, and the coastal walks with spectacular views at Kynance Cove. Great thanks to our host Jo. We would love to come back.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Miners Cottage for one night while attending the Eden Sessions. It was absolutely perfect for the four of us. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were greeted with a lovely welcome food hamper, which was a really thoughtful touch and much appreciated. Communication with our hosts was excellent from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here……

“Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works. Helen even asked me what milk we drink and made sure there was a pint of semi skimmed in the fridge on arrival.. Thanks Helen. The bed and the sofa were……

“A beautiful little hideaway central to anywhere you want to go in Cornwall. Lovely peaceful little site. Tina is a beautiful soul who is so helpful. We will be returning and fully recommend to anyone who loves the simplicity of peace and tranquility. The pods are small cosy and homely. The dogs and horses are a joy to watch and be around. Our furbaby also had a very relaxing short stay with the freedom of the outside area. Perfect. Thank you from us both. Lisa and Mark Burge. ”

“My wife and I had a lovely stay in Charlestown at Honeysuckle Cottage for 5 nights. The house is well equipped and 10 minutes walk from the famous historic harbour which we were visiting for the first time. The nearest pub is even closer. There is limited parking outside the cottage but plenty of free street parking nearby. As it was, we were lucky and only once could not park near the cottage. There is a dehumidifier in the kitchen. It should be pointed out that this needs emptying of water……

“Great place to stay, a lovely basket of goodies on arrival. A really quiet place to chill out. The hot tub smelt a little funky, like someone had let their dog in it (ugh) but with a quick wipe out it was ok.”

“This accomodation is amazing, however if you are taking a pet dog you need to know that the beach/local paths do not allow dogs between end of March to October. Not clear in hotels.com info. We walked from the local path down towards the beach saw the sign saying no dogs on the beach so walked by the quay side- unbeknown to us due to poor signage was also no dogs, only to be aggressive confronted by a nasty local man. Put a bit of a downer on being in such a nice property so close to beach.”

“A generously sized apartment in a wonderful location with a view of the harbour. We had a full family group and everyone had enough space. Well equipped for self catering but above a fabulous restaurant (no problems with noise from above or below) and many other great choices for great eating out within 5 minutes. The stand out feature is the harbour view - you could spend a lifetime just watching the sea, the harbour, the crabbers, the people trying to choose between 5 delicious ice cream……
