“I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel.……

“We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place.”

“Room was freezing cold, no heating on, kettle didn't work. They did offer to change our room but other room was also unheated. As check in is 2pm.We checked in at 4.40pm 14th Feb, room was icy cold. Hot water was temperamental. Room should have bern warm & water hot, Hubby had cold shower i gave that a miss.should be heated by then”

“We stayed here for one night as a stop off on the coastal path walk. A large bedroom and bathroom, very clean, lovely roll top bath. Nice view of sea from bedroom. Breakfast was excellent and staff very welcoming. Would highly recommend”

“Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus.”

“Great location and has a parking space, main bedroom is very nice but second bedroom is more suitable for children than an adult couple. Kitchen and living room is nice and the host supplied coffee and tea. Thank you!”

“This is definitely a hotel where you will find peace and tranquility. The balcony experience was amazing. The location is excellent, in a very quiet area. Perhaps the only drawback is the lack of a refrigerator in the room, but the fact that it's a pub could be a reasonable justification.”
