"I booked this motel for my family who were visiting Auckland to spend Christmas with me, and I was hoping to find somewhere close to the ocean, as we all love the beach. From the moment I made the booking, the motel owner contacted me and suggested a suite with separate sleeping areas, which was perfect for our family and gave us extra space. The owner and staff could not have been more helpful — they even allowed early access so I could decorate the suite for Christmas and surprise my family. The motel is just a few minutes from a beautiful beach and a lovely café, both of which we visited many times during our stay. This place is incredibly welcoming and relaxed, truly a home away from home. We loved everything about it and will definitely be returning again and again. I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was a wonderful experience, and we will always cherish the special memories we made here. Thank you so much xx"

"The staff was so accommodating! We ended up needing an extra night so we booked via a different website and the staff combined our two reservations and even switched us rooms when a fan wasn’t working to an upgraded view! We were so extremely comfortable and it was the perfect location right in main Devonport a one minute walk to the ferry which we took everyday downtown."
