Bachelorette weekend

We had a group of 8 women for a bachelorette weekend. The house was good for what we needed, a little small but we made it work. My only problem was no washer or dryer, or a full size fridge. The area was perfect! We were in walking distance to the beach, which was perfect and in a central location to everything we had planned to do for the weekend.

Pretty good

Quiet, little spot about 2 blocks from the beach. Has a gas station and dockside Dave's(great grouper sandwich) close and within walking distance from the condo. Little issues with getting in and the amenities. Would be tight for more than 4 people in my opinion. But overall not a bad place to stay.

Perfect location to the beach

My friends and I wanted a nice and relaxing weekend at the beach and that's exactly what we got. The property has a unique layout but it was nice to be able to segment the bedrooms off if someone wanted to sleep in or nap. The air-conditioning worked amazingly and every room had a ceiling fan. We grabbed food at Dockside Dave's which was within walking distance. The property had some beach gear to use including a beach wagon. Would definitely return!

Never experienced this before

I received text messages every night telling us we were not following rules. No where in the paperwork did it say quiet time was at 10 pm. I received a text at 3:30 am questioning why the kids were in the courtyard at midnight! With a screen shot from the cameras. AT 3:30 am!!! I felt like we were being watched everyday and night. I’ve never experienced anything like this! EVER! And the main freg was not full size! We barley had room to put 2 pizzas! Horrible experience!

Cleaning fee joke

Dusty, sandy, and spiders. Freezer had frozen ice and whatever stuck in the bottom. I did'nt have time to defrost to clean it out. Four of the six chairs to the table were broken. So we sat on a pillow to make 3 chairs. Window blinds broken and do not fit/cover the windows. The beach buggy was totally rusted through and broken. We had planned on it being helpful but we managed to make it work after shoveling it out. An outside hose might be really heloful with some of the sand issue. Location is really convenient to the beach. We didn't contact the property manager because we really didn't have a reason to. There was nothing he could have fixed for our 2 night stay. Parking was very convenient. If I stayed here again, I would charge them a cleaning fee.

Very small but manageable for family of 4, bad experience overall

We had a bad experience. We found bed bugs at night on one of the rooms while my daughter tried to sleep. Took pictures of them and reported it. VRBO did NOTHING for us, the company that rents the place was helpful but did not believe our pictures were real. They claimed that we could just get pictures from other places or google and claim we had bed bugs on one bed! I was very very upset. It created a lot of stress, overspending since we needed to get a hotel and we had days of many phone calls with the property management to request a refund. the place was ok, clean but very space limited. I felt for 4 is ok, but not more than 4. The layout is strange. The sofa bed was a little broken and it is NOT what the picture shows. There are couple of window blinds that are shorter than the window height and lets a lot of light get in the room. If you need a lot of dark room to sleep, this is not the place. Very close location to the beach but not worth the place. Will not recommend or come back to this place. Very disappointed with VRBO customer service regarding the issue with the bed bugs. A lot of back and forth with the property management and a lot of push back that it was not true. They checked the place after we left and they obviously didn't see any bugs - I offered to stay there to showed them but they did not allowed. They said a pest control company checked didn't find any.They didn't allow to review the report.Just hoping they take care of it for others

Home away from Home

Great location. Private and quiet. Block away from public entrance to the beach. Within in walking distance of several eateries. Actual space looked bigger online but very clean and accommodating.

Cottage on the BEACH

We rented the cottage for roughly 4 days and it was a great experience. Only 1 block/walking distance to the public entrance to the beach. Plenty of small but mighty restaurants within walking distance. The beds were comfortable. We used the beach toys available and that was great for the kids. We will definitely return.

Family beach Vacation

The location was perfect for us with small kids to get to the beach easily… wish the fridge was bigger because there was no way with even six people there was enough room to store enough food…also you should provide more kitchen essentials like foil, plastic bags,etc.as we wanted to make food to take to the beach but had nothing to wrap it in… When you have little kids you don’t want to go out to eat for every meal…since there is no dishwasher everything was hand washed but some of it was not clean.. also floors were very sticky when we got in…. Overall it was great because our family could be together but these little things would improve someone’s stay tremendously

Close to beach-not much space

It worked for 5 adults for this trip but we won’t stay here again. Not clean enough and a few minor things broken (couch bed and one ceiling fan).

Clean and cute

House is as listed. Clean and cute. We had 8 of us and even with both units it was kind of cramped but we managed. There was a few things we needed that was already there for us like toilet paper and trash bags. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Cute Madeira Beach condo

It was cute and had what we needed for a quick get-a-way to Madeira Beach during Spring Break. They have beach towels, beach wagon and chairs in the back of Lujo property to take to the beach across the street. Beds were comfortable and all the amenities. Cute patio in between buildings with cute lighting. Fully equipped kitchen and kitchenette space. Perfect for 2 families. Debbie the manager was so helpful. Great stay!
