"Great location, close to the lift for skiing and an easy walk to town. The building is well kept and the caretaker very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well appointed and modern. When we arrived it was late and I asked about groceries. I was told the store was closed. About 15 minutes later the caretaker arrived with a bag of essentials for the next day!!!! Who could ask for more! I would highly recommend this property. My only reason for not giving it all 5's is the bedding. We did not...

"We had a good time at this property. I think it was a little confusing that we were actually located in a condo separate from any main hotel building (studio Venus) and there wasn’t too much around us. But it was very walkable and there was enough support from the hotel staff to get what we needed if the room didn’t have it. We had a very nice and comfortable stay. "

"Very friendly manager and up to his task. Late arrival and late check out was nicely arranged. Always nice to come to a place with warm welcome. Only thing I would like to change for next visit was the partly uncomfortable mattress. It was a bit worn out and wrong size in the bed. "A cozy tiny house, on a sunny mountainside with great views. In a calm, authentic little town. A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain. There is other great trails further up the mountain (starts 10 min. away in car), with spectacular views. We used it for skiing, and tried Cervina, Valtournence, Thorgnon and Chamois. "Property is not accessible through road as it is on the hill and no road is leading to there. You have to take the Gornergrat train for one station to reach the property. Ticket cost is CHF17 one way which is quite costly. Flat 16 does not have any view to Matterhorn so avoid booking this one to avoid disappointment. Flat is clean and properly manager is very helpful. "
