"Nice place close to M4 but a little out of town and 20 min by car to suspension bridge. Great spa pool steam room sauna area but long questionnaire to get in each time! Pretty good gym. Restaurant was not bad for dinner too (didn’t have BF there so can’t comment). Parking not under cover. Lake view room needed stairs so I chose a closer room so I didn’t need to carry my bags up stairs as no bellboy service."

"Not a great start as i do not like Hotels that charge for parking unless its a City Centre location.....the Car Park here is huge. Even less impressed that i had to use an App to pay for the parking.....The fella on reception helped me sort it and things improved. Lovely Air Conditioned Bar and although the rooms did not have Air Con it was a huge benefit for us in the hot weather. The food was superb and the friendly service provided by Donna matched the quality of the fare. I will be back."

"Always our go to family hotel whenever we are in South Wales. Clean facilities, top of the range customer service. The breakfast is also very exemplary with lots of options only downside is felt like they were rationing some of the pastries as every time we went to get some croissants they were gone and had to keep requesting the chef to add and then they were gone again, happened on two occasions. Other than that we enjoyed our stay."

"Set in beautiful grounds, good hearty breakfast clean bedding and towels. Hotel is a lovely old place and would benefit from a slight redecorate. Carpets need to be cleaned at the edges if this was done then 5 star from me. I will stay again next time I am in the area. Good night's sleep on very comfy beds"
