San Antonio Steves Homestead Museum Hotels

"Well they do charge for parking. There’s that. I guess since they are downtown San Antonio. Or you can frantically look for parking on the street that you have to pay for but free on Sunday. Quaint location, I must say with short walking distance to everything. Banks, the Alamo, food, shopping, the river walk, other hotels. Came during spring break so I kind of understood waiting an hour to check in with long line in the lobby and no one at valet to pick up cars. Guess their parking was maxed out. Front desk with one person and house keeping tried their best to keep up. The place was not dirty but not spotless at the same time. Beds and furniture very comfy with big wide windows to get a good view of city at night. A full kitchen setup with lots of small necessities like paper towels and utensils. Bare minimum towels in the bathroom however, but enough soaps. "

"Friendly staff, great atmosphere,easy accommodating, although we did have hair left in the bathroom from a previous guest other than that the room was otherwise clean.. I would recommend staying here if you visit SA!! "

"Room was next to the Elevator- nothing but loud noise, bathroom handle was leaking water and had a funny smell. river side view is okay but nothing too out there- billing needs more help, they ran my card for “accidents of 100” but charged over 250"

"Great hotel suite for a quick weekend family get away. The wife and two teenagers had lots fun! Very clean suite and had no issues with our stay. Lots of stuff to do nearby: Alamo, Riverwalk, shopping, and restaurants. Was easy to get to downtown and valet parking made everything a breeze. "
