“The beach on this property is amazing and cannot be beat! We spent hours enjoying the beautiful view and nice sand. The house is a manufactured home, but it was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. It also has a large yard and two fire pits (one at the beach) to enjoy. The outdoor shower was a fun perk as well. I would definitely book it again.”

“We (my dog and I) thoroughly enjoyed our days at Weidel Cottage. Took walks in the evening to take pictures of the sunset, found the Madeline Museum quite interesting, and enjoyed our morning coffee taking in the view of Lake Superior,”

“We stayed at this location for the Madeline Island Marathon, and it was a lovely house! Very close proximity to the ferry to Madeline Island. Large open kitchen was nice as well and everything was very clean.”

“The view and the weather were wonderful. The cabin 25 minutes from the ferry landing. It is set way back from the dirt/gravel road, so very quiet and private. Bring plenty of bug spray or you won’t be spending anytime outside. The beds and bathroom were basic but seemed clean. The kitchen cabinet interiors were not very clean and there wasn’t one coffee cup that wasn’t stained. Glad I had my travel mug with me. New coffee cups, cutlery and skillets would make a big difference. There were a few……

“The house is in a mowed field abutting woods next to a quiet storage facility. It is modest but clean. The two ceiling fans and standing fans were helpful because there is no AC, it's not near the water, and it was very humid. There were no near neighbors and it was very restful. There are games to play, and plenty of towels. We never tried the small TV, but used WiFi. There is a nice outside "balcony" with seats, and we had wine and read and looked at the trees. The bed is very, very, very soft……
