“This was a very nice room at a good rate. It was very peaceful with a park right outside. The bed and pillows were very comfy and the skylight in the room was appealing. The gentleman who works there is kind and helpful. ”

“The entire house was slanted, making it difficult to walk up the stairs, which were already fairly steep. One friend left with unspecified bug bites on her leg, several of us had reddish and brown stains on our mattresses, and one persons was flipped over to hide said stains. Floor came up a bit in the kitchen on our first night there and a friend got a scratch on her foot from it. Trash was also not taken out when we arrived. Decorations were nice, and towels, sheets and dishes were included,……

“The Cochrane Inn is run by a pair of wonderful sisters, Rica and Winky. I arrived at the Inn way ahead of the check-in time and was exhausted due to the longhaul flight. They offered me complimentary breakfast and accompanied me while I was waiting in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my first time being able to fall asleep on a hotel bed without the help of melatonin pills! The Cochrane Inn is truly a magical house to me!  Thank you for the awesome stay once again, Rica……

“Beautiful property! The young lady at the front desk thoroughly explained all the amenities available to us and upgraded our room! Room ended up being a one bedroom apartment with full kitchen, two large screen TVs, comfy couch in living room. bed was very comfortable. everything was top-notch!”

“Hotel is tiny, quirky, swanky bohemian in vibe. Our room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed. Tiny cocktail/wine bars on the premises were both fun. Great location. ”

“We had a very nice stay at the Detroit Club. It’s within walking distance of so many shops, restaurants, and attractions. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The building itself is very charming and a piece of Detroit’s history. Will certainly come back when in town. ”

“The room was spotless, everything was in good condition. Rooming and comfortable. The wall of window and view was exceptional. The windows could have been cleaner but there was a blizzard going on during our stay. So hopefully that was the only reason for that. Location was perfect to enjoy the city. Parking was across the street in a parking garage with in/out availability. The communication was also great. We will definitely return the next time we are traveling to the city.”
