「This is the rare 5-star B&B that actually earns its rating. The house is a beautiful, art filled home where attention is paid to every detail. The host and hostess are lovely and their entire focus is on making their guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. 「The room was compact but very comfortable. It was spotless and very well appointed, with a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and even a standing fan. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. The pub downstairs serves great food too. Even though it's above a pub, there was no noise at all, and I slept very well. Definitely a room for a solo traveller though! 」

「The Apollo was a 2 minute walk from train station and buses. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. My room (5) was clean and bed very comfortable. Plenty of Tea, coffee and milk in room. Also a lovely touch was the biscuits, cartons of juices and bottled water. I would recommend the Apollo.」

「stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker」

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」
