"Such a cool hotel I love the museum on the second floor so interesting and all the penguins food is great restaurants great everything just what a great stay very unique but very quiet very cozy love everything about it. Can’t wait to stay at the other ones."

"Dust in bathroom baseboards and on TV’s. 80 dollars for overnight parking with hotel or 40 with parking garage. Room service is convenient but a bit overpriced."

"When we checked into the hotel, our room was 77°. The front desk was called three times and an employee did come up to “reset” the thermometer. We were told no other rooms were available and the room was still 77° when we checked out the next day. "

"The hotel is new; very clean, staff are super friendly and great location. This is our second time in 6 months - favorite hotel in central west end!"

"The neighborhood seemed sketchy when it rained it leaks through our room into the bathroom the bathtub wouldn't drain and later we had a hitchhiking mouse that ended up in our laundry"

"We have stayed here several times over the last 8 years or so. We even had our wedding party stay here on our wedding night. Our first few experiences were fantastic. But, as the years continue the only thing I have seen gone downhill is the cleanliness of the rooms. In our room there was hair left behind on the toilet and floor. There was also lip/lipstick marks on the glasses provided in the room. The q-tips were already opened, which seemed minor at first but then as I continued to notice things it made me feel like the room was just not cleaned well. I will say the bar staff upstairs was top notch! It's just a bummer to see a place we really enjoyed staying get more expensive and less clean with each visit. "

"My sister and I stayed three nights while in town to see Phantom of the Opera at the Fox Theatre, which is less than a mile away. The property is absolutely beautiful, and our room was very clean and comfortable. The owner/operator was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about things to do in St. Louis. If I visit again, I would definitely stay here! Truly a hidden gem. "
