"It was clean and the staff offered to help with any bags or see us to our room.
We stayed one night on our way through town. This is an old building. It was exactly what we expected and needed. If you want a new hotel this is not it. You will be disappointed. However, it is quiet, worn but clean, cozy, and very convenient at a very reasonable price."
"Wonderful home from home in Port William. Inchlonaig house had everything we needed for our stay, the property is immaculate and all of the bedrooms were so comfy - we all had a great nights sleep. We stayed as a family group looking for a relaxing weekend to celebrate a big birthday. Port William is a lovely wee town, there isn't much there but it does have a cafe/bar and a spar shop for the essentials. The house has beach access right across the road, which was perfect for walking our two dogs and for watching a beautiful sunset. We also had Sunday lunch at the local golf club, which I would highly recommend- it was very good! Sarah was a brilliant host, very friendly and helpful. Her welcome gift of wine and shortbread was so thoughtful and much appreciated. Thank you Sarah, for a lovely weekend at Inchlonaig House."
Cosy Family Cottage In Rolling Country Near Beach - Sleeps 5
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent all round! Cottage and location - tucked into the peaceful countryside. Contemporary decor but still a cosy and welcoming space with lovely views of green hills. We had everything we needed and Charles couldn’t have been more helpful! We even saw the promised deer and little resident vole!"
"I am 6'6" and currently have limited mobility following an operation. Stairs were a slight problem and i got room 3 which as someone else mentioned had sloping ceilings in parts but there were numerous 'mind your head' signs. Room was compact and clean with two single beds. Limited parking - i ended up being told to park on part of the pavement outside the inn.
Owner was very helpful but seemed to be pretty stressed with everything he had to do. Bar and restaurant staff were very attentive and welcoming. Food very good.
No breakfast
Would i go back - probably not with my current mobility problems but i would recommend to any others
