“What a lovely quaint hotel. Upon arrival the exterior looks a little ragged and in need of some refurbishment. What a surprise when i went inside. Lovely, well kept wall paper and carpets in designs that match the age of the property. Our room appeared to have been recently renovated as the carpet was perfect and the bathroom was pristine! The shower was incredibly powerful and beautifully hot. Alongside the normal fluffy white towels was a lovely little toiletry set which was unexpected for……

“This was a beautiful property. Unfortunately we arrived very late and didn’t get to spend any daylight hours enjoying to grounds so it was a bit of a waste to us. The restaurant was closed which we were not aware of when we booked. Lovely place if you are planning to use the grounds and enjoy the property .”

“Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"!
Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,……

“We absolutely loved our stay at Rushton Hall! The building itself is stunning, full of character and history, and the beautiful, expansive grounds really add to the experience. It's the perfect setting for a romantic break.
All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially in the restaurant, where we were really well looked after. Dinner was delicious and, although not cheap, we both felt it was worth every penny.
Our room was huge, with a lovely big bath and separate shower, which was……
