Checking in was smooth with self check in but also with a staff present to help if anything. The room can be more cleaner and the room we got has the vise of Taipei 101 but the windows were so stained so the view was not as great.

I asked the hotel to contact a taxi for me. They did not told me to go downstairs and wave taxi. We had difficulty communicating with the taxi driver as it would’ve been much easier for the hotel to call the taxi and give them the information where we was going will not stay here again.

The price is reasonable, check-in and check-out is great. The transit station and laundry is closed-by. Staff is very helpful. My overall experience about check inn was satisfactory.

Location, Comfort and Price- worth it
Great location. Quick walk to many attractions.and MRT. Easy to check in/out. Comfortable bed. Nice view of Taipei 101 from bathroom 😂. Breakfast was so-so, especially for a western diet.

Great view for a reasonable price
The great thing about this hotel is the view, if you get the right type of room. My room was on the 15th floor with an all window wall with a view of Taipei 101, and it was a joy to stay there. The rooms are small, but neat. The breakfast is very good, and vegetarian friendly.

Small room but clean and nice. Breakfast included is a plus cuz you dont need to waste time finding breakfast nearby. Most hotels in this price range do not include breakfast so this is a plus. Location is convenient, walking distance to 101 shopping mall, 8 minutes walk to MRT station (but actually half of the time is waiting for travel light to turn green at the crossing). Staff is friendly and helpful. They have self-checkin & checkout machines for guest to use, but there's a staff around to help out if you have problems.

We booked a room with window. The room did come with a window but it was fully covered by a metal plate outside, so I feel scammed. I approach the front desk to ask for a room change, but he said the hotel is fully booked and that’s the only available room. We kept our blinds closed for our entire stay, as we do not want to stare at a the extremely uncleaned glass window and metal plate. The hot water supply during shower fluctuates…. While you’re showering the water suddenly becomes cold for a few minutes and return to like warm, then cold again.. very unpleasant. Cleanliness.. just say, I’m glad I brought my own towels :)

Customer services are very good. They are walking the extra miles to help us. Giving one example, I asked the front desk where to buy medication for my wife. She called pharmacies close by and then took me to that pharmacy to do the translation job.

the room was fine, a bit dark and the light switches were quite complicated to figure out. Also, the shower door opens at such an odd angle that when you are getting out, you have to put yourself against the cold tile wall for a second to open it all the way. The staff though was the highlight of this place, very friendly and helpful.

Worst experience at a hotel
I arrived very early from a 13-hr long flight and asked the staff if she could find a room for me earlier. I was told that they would have to wait until the room was cleaned which was understandable. Then a few hours later the staff came and told me the room was ready but I had to pay an extra 500 NT an hour (for 4 hours) if I wanted to get the room which amounted to almost a one-day room rate. I thought it was a rip-off and so rejected the deal. Then at around 2 pm (after I'd been waiting for more than 6 hours) I asked again if they could accommodate my request. This time they said the room wasn't ready and I had to wait another hour. I know there's a business policy that they have to follow but it's a service business and with a little compassion and common sense they could've made a guest feel so much better. I wouldn't mind paying extra if I thought it wasn't a rip-off. When they knew I wasn't paying and said the room wasn't ready even though it was ready a few hours earlier when they wanted to rip me off, I knew something wasn't right. I've been around the world and this is my worst experience at a hotel. Never again!!!!

And for your super early arrival we did our best to let you have a clean room to rest as fast as we can. However we still need to follow the policy to charge you for early check in like all around the world. We did not try to over charge you for anything. We are sorry if our staff hurt your feelings in anyway. Next time if your flight is super early please do remember to book the night before. Thank you very much.
