This pic is from the viewpoint about 0.5km downhill from the restaurant. Had lunch here a while back, gorgeous. I had the 'wild boar stew' and really enjoyed it. The view from this place is outstanding and the service is also very good, moderately priced.
Not far from the busy resorts of Benidorm & Altea is the fantastic scenery and mountains of the Alicant District. This shot was taken at sunrise from the aerial station on the top of ‘Cim Carrascal’. To get there drive or cycle to the restaurant at the top of the Coll de Rates (CV715) from here walk up the track to the aerial station, good quality track, approx 50mins depending on your fitness level. There are great photographic opportunities all the way up. Great at sunset also.

Great location, Far enough from the crowds but close enough to everything else. Beach was a leisurely 15 minute walk passing by lots of shops and restaurants. Hotel was clean with great amenities. The apartment was very clean and spacious and well equipped with fabulous views over Benidorm. The kingsize bed was super comfy and there are two sets of patio doors onto the good sized balcony one from the bedroom and one from the living room. tgethe living room

Superb cafe stop (used by the cycle race team BMC, during their winter training at Coll de Rates). Pizzas are superb. Perfect stop before heading towards Castell de Castells, this road is littered with fantastic photo opportunities. End of Feb is good, loads of almond blossom and an abundance of orange groves. If heading over Coll de Rates, please give the cyclists plenty room, it’s a tough climb...
