"This was a historic hotel with amazing character. We will definitely be staying here again. The bed, sheets, and pillows were the best we've ever slept on. This was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in this area and was in walking distance of downtown. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly!"
"The food is very good and prices are great and the servers are so friendly. This is a smaller casino and hotel but that’s just the way we like it. Staff and servers were all very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"We stayed at the Calamity Jane Cottage during part of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We easily parked 2 motorcycles and a truck, and it was all paved streets and parking area. Check in process and communication with Lee was excellent! There was plenty of room for 2 couples and all the extra things you might need were available like bath soap, shampoo, towels, dish soap, coffee, and extra blankets and pillows. Lee even put up a canopy for the motorcycles to park under, and had a hose for washing the cycles. Great central location for riding to Sturgis and other destinations. It was nice in the evenings to take a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Deadwood to hang out. The gas station located next door was also convenient for getting gas and snacks. The pizza to go and honey chicken biscuits were tasty. There is some traffic noise, but we didn't mind all the motorcycles rumbling by. We would definitely stay here again!"
"Nice stay for one night. Easy walk downtown or could stay in the hotel complex to eat/drink/gamble. Beautiful view from the balcony with a fireplace. It was nice to be a little off the downtown area. It was the start of the bike festival, so even though it’s fun to see the bikes and all the people, nice to be able to go to the hotel for some calm!
