They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. The host was pleasant and left a useful ‘welcome basket’ and plenty of linen etc. The house was clean, however it was generally ‘dated / tired’ and cluttered; with an overgrown garden. A shame there was no way of watching live tv (particularly in the week of the Queen dying) Upstairs has creaky floorboards and doors that drag on carpets. The beds were comfortable but the master bedroom was cramped with oversized furniture and there was no evidence of twin...
