"When you walk in, the lobby looks pretty good. The rooms, however, are outdated and need repair. We noticed a wet/moldy smell the moment we walked into our room. Turns out, the about a 10-foot area of carpet around the heating/cooling unit was soaked with water. It was likely this way for a long time because the wallpaper near the floor was also wet and wrinkled. There's no way you could overlook this issue in the room. On our second day (a Thursday), we decided to try the breakfast buffet downstairs. We walked in and were surprised to find out the restaurant was closed. It's was 9:30 a.m. Other issues: Only 2 elevators were operational, and the TV remote didn't work, even though the batteries seemed fine. Overall, we dealt with the issues because of the convenient location, a couple blocks from the Georgia Tech campus."

"The hotel staff was great. New but very helpful. Took some time to check in due to the staff being new. The room was as big as your going to get in this area. Like a small apartment. The Tv's didn't work. Stuck on one station and couldn't change stations. Remotes needed batteries. We were basically there for a bed and overnight stay."

"We had to change rooms three times in order to get the room that we paid for. Also, the bed was so uncomfortable! I have never had a worst night sleep in a hotel and I usually love sleeping in hotels."

"Only one elevator worked and usted stairs most of the time "

"My room's air conditioning didn't work for my entire stay of 4 nights. First day it was set on 59, when I complaint they turned the heat on and the AC ran on 79 all night. Later when I complaint, they told me to turn the AC off and open the curtains to maintain the temperature. I stayed without AC for next 2 days."

"Great location, clean, and friendly staff. However, room was too close to rooftop bar and it was very noisy all night."

"The hotel is nice, but the staff really steals the show. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. We were traveling with our young baby and all of the staff lent a helping hand when we were entering and leaving the hotel. Note that the only on site parking is valet. We always got our cars very quickly and had no issue there. There was always someone there to help us load and unload our stuff as well. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel! "
