「Charming property, room very neat and clean but the most important part of a motel room which to me is the bed was like a barn door with a sheet over it, hard as a rock but that's just my opinion, some people may like very hard beds. Also there were several palmetto bugs running around in the room like they owned the place lol. Overall all a good experience and location.」

「As a long time repeat customer we were greatly disappointed. Nothing was open and continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. We found a worm and a bug in coffee cup from breakfast and found the first floor room very loud in stairwell and noise from room above on second floor. There was also a smell of mold in hallway where store was previously located. Very disappointed.」

「This is a cozy and charming cottage. Looks better on the inside than the outside. Loved the dogs and the horses. A bit rustic but I loved it. 」

「There was literally a hole from a dog Jude in the door to the bathroom. The pool was kept clean, and the staff was polite, but a lot of intoxicated people by the pool.」

「My only complaints center around air conditioning. The window unit was not strong enough to cool down the room quickly nor effectively, leading to my 2nd thing that bothers me. When we opened the door to our room at 9pm it was stifling hot, it took hours to even slightly cool down. I don't understand why you wouldn't go in earlier in the day at least and turn the unit on. That said, room was clean and the check in lady was very friendly.」

It is intentional false advertising. The “shared bathroom” clause is supposed to have you assume you will be sharing the place with the elderly woman that lives there and whatever guests she has in another room.
