"The Lakefront Anchorage is situated conveniently close to the airport and downtown Anchorage. The hotel has lots of old world charm with modern amenities. The thing that surprised me the most was that the hotel is huge, like really big. I'm pretty sure that the walk from the registration counter to our room was a 1/4 mile. The staff were friendly but understaffed for the number of customers this hotel serves. Would I stay here again, maybe, maybe not."

Perfect for Us
"This was our second stay there and have been in both downstairs units. They are comfortable and well maintained. I planned the timing of our Alaska cruise and extended vacation around being able to stay there. The location is perfect for us since we enjoy walking the trails in Anchorage. Just a few steps and you are on the Coastal Trail or climb the hill and you are downtown. The owner is available, responsive and a very nice gentleman. It's not the Hyatt, but we would stay here even if the price was the same. As I said, perfect for us and if you enjoy a simple relaxing spot with a great view of Cook Inlet you will too."
