“very beautiful hotel.also the town is very nice view.”

“Very disappointing stay considering paying up to Euro 1500/ ++ per night F&B - 2 out of 3 restaurants are booked for event and not available to guest - Food quality is subpar (from breakfast to dinner) Spa - Spa is fully booked for the entire weekend (no slots reserved for in house guests), we asked during booking whether spa needs to be book ahead and was assured availability upon arrival - Heated pool temperature is lukewarm at most Room - Sound proof in bedroom is very poor, you can……

“Euro 180 is charged for private boat trip but no English speaking guide, no welcome drink or fruit basket in room considering 5 star and nearly 500 euro rate! Breakfast is good. Gym room is opened 9 or 10am, not designed for morning excercise purpose! Room reserved considered to be garden view but in actual, funny hotel back of house view! No show for one room, no consideration for partial refund or extend for future use- waste!”

“Beautiful hotel, great location. Make sure you go to the beach club too we almost missed it.”

“paying this price can stay more more better hotel. so disappointed”

“nice view! The lady at the reception is very kind. Staying one night there was a good choice for us.”

“We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and pleasantly surprised us with a room……

“A big and nice hotel, especially with strong air conditioner. The staff is helpful. The restaurant outside with perfect view which you can’t miss out.”

“Overall it is a good experience. Room is ok. The only issue is that there is no window at the lower floor - small window for the upper floor. Saying that, the sun light is good. In terms of room space, we have 2 15/13 year old kids and after the sofabed is spread out, there is limited space. Gym is great with everything while pool is also very nice. Overall service level is very good. We probably need a more sensible solution if we need to call a cab from the city.”

“房間乾淨整潔舒適 早餐多樣好吃 就是咖啡非現磨無選擇”

“Really like the garden suite! Impeccable service. Very welcoming. Staff are very kind. Highly recommended for a romantic stay!”

“Great service from the reception staff. Breakfast was good! Parking was a bit busy, room was small but comfortable”

“I would have given a higher rating, but the communication with the hotel on how to get there were very challenging, we had to argue for a lake view room which we booked. Once we settled in, it became a very pleasant experience, lake view from the balcony through the trees, clean room, when we made sure they’ll clean it, convenient, walkable location to restaurants and ferries.”
