“Had a lot of amenities and was good in that regard for the price but it was a bit dirty/musty and needed to be aired out.”

“Great stay!”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were wonderful. We were not prepared for such a large body of water from a fishing standpoint. We wish there were places to rent basic fishing boats in the area. Most of them were pontoon, boats, or large bass boats.Otherwise, it was a good visit with the family and we all had fun.”

“The host was amazing, the house was amazing, and it was perfect for what we were looking for.”

“Great stay. Excellent location and lots of amenities.”

“The interior exceeds expectations! Great for myself and a friend to cook and have some quality time catching up. The view of the lake from the seating for two is beautiful and we got to do some fun bird watching. My friend who enjoys cooking said it is extremely well equipped for cooking! Lots of thoughtful touches.”

“A very nice place to stay at. Bathroom is nice and large. Great open kitchen and living room. 2nd bedroom is on the smaller side. Backyard is very nice and has an indoor porch also!”

“My husband and I had an incredible stay at this lakefront cottage in Chautauqua! The home itself was both beautifully updated and decorated, that made the stay feel truly special! The highlight without a doubt, was the spectacular view of the lake. We spent a lot of our time on the outside deck - it was the perfect, relaxing spot to soak in the scenery and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the location was ideal, offering a quiet lakeside retreat while still being conveniently close to Bemus……

“Expedia could have given better driving directions and a more accurate map. Everything about the property was positive.”

“Great location. Lots to do and see in the area. We loved the game room and the kitchen was well equipped.”

“Nice, quiet place to stay. Tastefully decorated, we were very comfortable throughout our trip. We enjoyed being a short drive from family.”

“Such an excellent stay. It was a great space for my family to have a great time and recharge! Right next to a park where my son had a blast! The house made it really easy to check in. It was very clean and well kept. It felt like a home away from home.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The bathroom was particularly nice. Overall a very nice experience. The yard was a nice size and would have been great for walking our dog but the high grass especially in the back area made that difficult.”

“Property was clean, AC in bedroom only, host easy to reach, dog friendly. Not detailed, “climbing” the stairs was literally the method of getting up to the bedroom. They were so steep that I had to use my hands and feet. Walking down required turning my feet sideways a pressing my hands against the walls. I am 70 years old. The outside was also swarming with mosquitoes, canceling out enjoying the generous common area outdoors.”

“My husband and I were looking for a quiet escape, and this charming cottage on Lake Erie delivered in every way. The lake views alone are worth the stay. We couldn't stop staring at the water from the moment we arrived. The space is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. Comfy beds and pillows. The updated bathroom was a nice surprise, and the kitchen had everything we needed! Our favorite moment? Sitting by the fire pit at sunset with our two Yorkies, watching the sky turn pink and orange……

“The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. We appreciated the concerns expressed by our host Dana with my mobility issues, but everything went well.”

“I traveled with my dog and was with her 100% of the time. The owner claimed my dog damaged his property -yet didn't even state what damage was supposedly done. Clearly, he was just trying to milk me for more money. I highly recommend staying away from this property. Frankly, the amount charged was way too much to begin with. Stay here at your own risk.”

“Our stay was wonderful. From the impeccably clean cabin to the friendly family atmosphere and the beautiful view of the lake our stay couldn't have been better. You are walking distance to the Bemus Point ferry and Stow Scoop and Swirl ice cream shop. We'll be back.”
