“We really enjoyed the cottage and the location. Bonus: The culinary knives were sharp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It was very pleasant to sit outside under the amazing tree(s) and next to the canal. This is a central location, so we were able to easily drive to local attractions - even Presque Isle.Pots and pans are available; bring your own storage containers/sandwich bags/foil.Be sure to visit the fresh eggs and vegetable stand on the left as you head into Mayville! :)”

“My husband and I were looking for a quiet escape, and this charming cottage on Lake Erie delivered in every way. The lake views alone are worth the stay. We couldn't stop staring at the water from the moment we arrived.The space is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. Comfy beds and pillows. The updated bathroom was a nice surprise, and the kitchen had everything we needed!Our favorite moment? Sitting by the fire pit at sunset with our two Yorkies, watching the sky turn pink and orange……

“I traveled with my dog and was with her 100% of the time. The owner claimed my dog damaged his property -yet didn't even state what damage was supposedly done. Clearly, he was just trying to milk me for more money. I highly recommend staying away from this property. Frankly, the amount charged was way too much to begin with. Stay here at your own risk.”

“This property is a definite 10 rating. Virtually a new home located on a Beautiful lake that is well furnished. I stayed 4 nights with my family of 4 and entertained several guest for dinner on 2 nights. Rodney was very responsive in his communications. We plan on visiting again in the Fall for a week.”

“The cottage was welcoming, well decorated and very well supplied. We spent a lot of time on the porch watching the lake and bird life. Very relaxing. A large dining room table was great for meals together and playing games. The cottage is not far from Bemus Point where we enjoyed some great meals. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to relax in a great surroundings.”

“Our stay was wonderful. From the impeccably clean cabin to the friendly family atmosphere and the beautiful view of the lake our stay couldn't have been better. You are walking distance to the Bemus Point ferry and Stow Scoop and Swirl ice cream shop. We'll be back.”
