“It is historic, beautiful and charming. The room was clean. Multiple beverages, baked goods & snacks were available 24/7. A full breakfast was available in the mornings. There are multiple shops nearby. The staff were very sweet and helpful, but some things were out of their control. There is no onsite staff person there at night, though there is someone to call if there is a problem. The locks on the front door and the room doors are old, and hard to lock & unlock. “It was fine. As a single woman traveling, I would not recommend. It felt a little remote. There is no one at the front desk after a certain hour and the rooms are detached from the main building. There was thankfully a delicious Italian restaurant next door which was not serving, but I was able to get take out as I arrived after 830pm. It was also a bit noisy as their were groups of people up late in the common area and then coming into the rooms (with thin walls). Otherwise, the room was clean……

“Pros-This property was updated and very clean. My family and I felt at home here. They need to leave more check out instructions inside the unit. Cons- The property was not too close to the pools and playground that were advertised. They are not in the same complex. The recreation area facilities were ok. I think my family got a cold from the public pool. Also, there are no signs when you turn into the recreation area. I went to three different buildings looking for the pool. Lastly, and……

“Very laid back and quiet property. Beds and linens were excellent - extremely comfortable. Great having covered parking at our room. Entire cottage very clean. Couldn’t adjust ceiling fan speed in one bedroom. Stayed on high all weekend. Ice maker didn’t produce much ice. Minor issues but overall a very pleasant experience. Would definitely stay there again!”

“Expedia needs to do their homework a little better. They listed a restaurant and lounge. Well maybe at one time there was but now it is non functioning. This place has a lot of potential but it reminded me of the Statis House in Great Expectations! The owner was nice enough but should not be renting out rooms at that price for what it is. It needs a lot of work still.”

“Woman at front desk cannot speak English. I don't go to India and expect everyone to speak English. Had to wait 30 min to check in because ground floor room I requested by phone twice was not available. Television did not work. Ice machine did not work. Will not stay here again.”
