“The room was compact but very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast is a help yourself continental breakfast which included boiled eggs if required. “Loved my stay at Ferryhill House. The staff was lovely, and the pub restaurant was great. Loved having a drink outside on their patio. I hadn’t realized breakfast was included which was a nice surprise. My room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was especially nice and up-to-date. I walked back to the hotel after dark from the bus station solo and felt perfectly safe. Just a note: It is an older hotel and there isn’t an elevator. “Reception welcome was great. Evening meal was absolutely delicious (seared monk fish medallions and garlic butter). Room was clean a organised, hot drink facility, full range of clean needing and towels. Easy check out and free parking. Staff were efficient and welcoming.
One smallish moan, the shower temperature was intermittent, cool then hot then cool again continually. Took a bit of adjusting to get an acceptable hot AND cool.
Great location for business reasons. I will book again.”

“The standard of customer service is exceptional. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. There is a very relaxing lounge area and the Caskieben bar offers an excellent food and drinks menu at reasonable prices.
