"Great central location and affordable. Budget hotel standard but lots of potential. The Brentwood needs lots of TLC and a deep clean. The room I was in had a strong unpleasant smell, stained carpet, furniture and walls. After a clean and purchasing an air freshener in was tolerable. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and warm. The bed was comfy. The couch was a lovely touch and comfy. The little kitchen was a nice added touch to. The breakfast was everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"Parking not included, bad start. Dated room even though it was a premium room (a £17 upgrade), the beds were like actual bricks - so uncomfortable. Reception later informed me the only difference with the premium room is you get a coffee machine and a fridge. I couldnt believe what I was hearing, absolute CON... Breakfast selection was shocking and the eggs/hasbrowns etc were stone cold by half 9. Plenty items finished and not replenished in the 30 mins we were there. The only good points were the pool and sauna facilities are decent and the receptionist on check in was lovely. Over 100 pounds spent though so absolutely no value for money."

"Unfortunate that our room had been previously occupied by a heavy smoker. Windows are sealed and air con doesn’t work, so air cannot move. Otherwise it would have been a nice stay. Clean bathroom, big smart tv. Clean bedding."

"Owners were very welcoming. Pets N/A as we didn't have any. Food at breakfast was excellent. Provisions in room for teas, etc. also excellent. Bed was clean and comfortable and the room suited us too. Absolutely no complaints and would happily stay again."
