「This is a tricky review to write as some things about Sweetfield Manor were very good but others were not. Firstly, the place advertises itself as a 5 star boutique hotel, boutique is correct, 5 star definitely not. The room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with an excellent shower room. 「We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us. We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made. It was comfortable, the pullout divan was stained and not comfortable, those things typically are not. The place had not been cleaned and there was no handsoap and little toilet paper. The outside area was very nice, the inside area is like a very rustic old north american cottage. Very old gas...

「The room was clean. However it was advertised tbat there was tea/coffee available- there was not. Also basic items were missing -- no shampoo, no hairdryer, no kleenex. Only sheets on bed. Air conditioning in bedroom only.」

「I was extremely disappointed with my stay here and am glad I stayed elsewhere on the island for the majority of my time in Barbados. The rooms here felt like jail cells, not one piece of art, no hot water and no mirror above the sink in the bathroom. There was also no fridge for leftovers but a stove?
