My standard poodle and I enjoyed 4 nights at Creekside. The condo was spotless, check-in easy, and the managers very responsive. The location was great for us. Very quiet at all times and the bike path at the end of the frontage road was perfect for brisk early morning walks.

Cozy 1 bedroom home in Vail
We recently stayed at a cozy and inviting one-bedroom home in Vail Valley, and it was absolutely perfect! The home is tastefully decorated with great attention to detail. It features one bedroom and a queen sofa bed, making it ideal for a family of four. It's also pet-friendly, so our service dog, Hana, was just as comfortable and happy as we were.
The location is fantastic! Situated in West Vail, it's just a quick 5-minute drive to Vail town and offers easy access to supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. For added convenience, a bus stop is less than 150 yards from the house, so you can hop on the free bus whenever you're not in the mood to drive.
The host was amazing—super responsive, attentive, and full of helpful tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved spending Christmas in Vail, and this lovely home played a big part in making it such a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
I booked this condo for a lawyer conference at the Grand Hyatt, but I didn't want to stay in the hotel. It was the perfect spot for me and my dog to hang out for the week and get some work done. The Gore creek is right outside the door and provides some nice white noise. The condo is close to an awesome dog park and is right on the main biking network in Vail. The bus stops just about 100 feet from the door to take you anywhere you need to go.
The condo had what I needed, good internet, equipped kitchen, good TV options, and a good setup for comfort. No complaints at all.
We stayed in August, so the weather was perfect for leaving the sliding door open to see and listen to the sound of the lovely Gore Creek. We ate all of our meals out on the little patio & even used the gas grill. Nice, small kitchen.
The place is perfect for two but seems small for 4 - especially with ski gear.
The owner was responsive but the property manager was unclear at first about the pet fee. Double check before hitting purchase on VRBO because you will sign another contract after you purchase with VRBO.
-Great dog park just down the road.-
For an excellent summer hike: Booth Falls.
Condo is in convenient location to everything.

Nice little one bedroom - lower walk out level facing river.
Entrance is at back of units. Very quiet but we did not have any neighbors in upstairs 3 bedroom. Had everything we needed to cook and enjoy apres ski. Left the thermostat at 55 as it can get quite warm in this unit. Dog park not too far, shuttle service to cascade and Lionshead short walk from unit. We shuttled one day and drove the other two as the walk from shuttle drop off to lift was a little longer than we like with ski boots on. Overall comfy place. (Plastic sheet on bed was a little surprising and unusual for a rental - noisy and slightly hot - but bed itself was otherwise comfortable.)
Great spot for taking advantage of ALL the area's activities!
Easy access location for all that the Vail / Avon / Eagle areas have.
Ample TH's for hiking and fat tire biking and easy access to Vail and BC Resorts. Also really cool dog areas within walking distance. Great space for working or hanging out and a nice kitchen area.
This unit was very clean and convenient to vail ski resort. The manager and owner was very responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely return to this property. Thank you for a great stay! :)
Cozy and plenty of room for 2 people. We are a family of three adults and the space was good, but 4 people may feel crowed.
Good location and not far from the bus stop.

Kitchen was great. Not very dog friendly - while moving in we had our dog short leaded to a post on patio. A young lady came along and asked if we were short term. I said yes, and she said my dad told me to tell you that if your dog goes onto the grass he is going to fine you. I never let my dog any where near that grass even though she would have loved to run down and splash around in the creek. I walked her far from the property to go potty.
The creek was the appeal! that was the reason for choosing the place!
We were disappointed by the dirtiness of the front entrance. We swept and cleaned the chairs, table and grill.
some of the features (faucets) needed tightening. One board was completely off, in the kitchen. we had trouble using the computer. we vacuum cleaned the carpet soon, to have a cleaner feel. we left a note on the counter in re.what we were missing. E.g. butter dish, egg cups. We tried to call the owner the day before departure with questions, but did not get a response.

We were very disappointed in this vrbo experience. Admittedly we had extenuating circumstances which made the experience more difficult. Our dog had emergency surgery the day before we arrived and wasnt supposed to do stairs. There are tons of stairs (not shown in pics) so we had to carry her up and down steps to go to the bathroom since a neighbor insisted we take her all the way up to the frontage road instead allowing her to go out the main floor door in the back where there is grass by the creek.Of course that is not the owners fault but even though we ALWAYS clean up after our dog the neighbor said she cant even pee on the grass. Not exactly a "dog friendly" rental. The bed has plastic on the mattress which makes it very uncomfortable and hot and the room is tiny and clausterphobic. There was a strong dog odor in the living room dining room, an uncomfortable couch and overall it was in no way a relaxing get-a-way. So we left after 1st night and forfeited the last 2 nights. On the positive side the management comany was very kind and responsive but there was not really anything they could do. I don't ever write poor reviews, but if I had known the things I am writing I wouldnt have wasted my time and on this property. So I'm trying to prevent others from having this negative experience.
Dog friendly area and great proximity to Lionshead and Vail attractions. Just a short drive from highly rated Midturn restaurants. Dog park nearby, walking trail along the creek nearby. The property was comfortable and clean. The check in instructions were a little outdated but didn't cause any trouble for us. We would stay there again, especially with our dogs.
This is such a cute place and the perfect amount of space for 2 people. We enjoyed being able to take our small dog and be right next to the river. Leaving the door open with the screen is a perfect way to hear the river. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in Vail.
Nice - clean property. Perfect for a single person or a couple with a pet. Could also be used for children as there is a sofa bed. The creek behind the property was so nice and peaceful. Felt very safe here.
Great location! It was right along the river and close to a beautiful trail along the river. We visited in June. It was also minutes from Vail Village and great place for biking!
