"My spouse and I decided to stay further outside of the city visiting Montreal for extra peace and quiet. It was nice to wake up and drink our coffee next to the lake. The home is well-appointed without being flashy. The beds were firm and comfortable—plenty of amenities including a fully appointed kitchen and cookware. The host was prompt and attentive, offering us to stay past checkout if needed. 10/10 would recommend."

"The unit is up a spiral staircase (not mentioned and no elevator). The smell when you enter the condo is very strong. The washer used only very hot water, and no laundry soap provided. The wash rags were hanging over a rack (we hope they were clean) had four extremely small and old stained towels. Refrigerator, stove, utensils and window seals were dirty. "I have hosted short term rentals and have been renting many for years, and I would say that this treehouse cottage was very cute and well thought out. That said, I would make some recommendation's. It wasn’t clear in the listing how far the house was from the water. It is a short walk but details should be a bit clearer. We brought our own kayaks but the small road to the beach was blocked off for reasons unknown. The ponds are cute but very small and not interconnected. It was amazing that...

"We 6 stayed here at the end of May 2025 (two early 20’s, two early 50’s, and 2 early-mid 70’s). Property was reasonably clean. You get the top two floors of a 3-story row house. Bedroom on the ‘first’ floor and two bedrooms upstairs. Half bath on the 2nd floor, two full baths, so anyone staying on the 2nd floor needs to go up another flight to shower.
