"We stayed in a converted stable which was unique - it was an apartment which was spacious, bright, and comfortable. It was lacking in aesthetics (color, pictures on the walls, pillows), nothing welcoming - and some conveniences like space in the bathroom to set things on (shelf, small table). Also there was a limited supply of toilet paper, towels, shampoo and soap - you had to supply these yourself or pay extra for them (3euros per extra towel). The staff was friendly and accommodating...

"Very impressed with the service, the staff and the ambience of the hotel. Breakfast was great and included in the price. Room was comfortable, spacious and warm. Bar/breakfast area is lovely. The restaurant is closed at weekends which was disappointing so we bought pizzas from the take away machine next door and sat in the hotel's social area with a few beers! Our dog was made mist welcome too!!"

"The hotel is in a fantastic location in Bayeux. It is very close and easy walking distance to all the sites in Bayeux. Bayeux itself is in easy driving distance to all the Normandy D-Day locations. The staff could not have been friendlier. It's not a fancy hotel, but for the price the rooms were clean and comfortable and had a good European breakfast.
