“My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location is fantastic; it is outside if town, with rural appeal, but just minutes from restaurants and shopping. Its a sweet cottage that has everything you need and is wonderfully furnished and decorated. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. They thoughtfully provided little extras, such as bottled water, ice, and snacks, that allowed us to feel like we were truly valued guests at their property. We also loved watching the horses……

“The cottage is cute, very clean and spacious. We walked the trail down to the creek and around the main house one morning. Very peaceful. We met the donkeys Chet and Lloyd and fed them carrots. Convenient to distilleries and places of interest. We would definitely recommend this property!”

“The house is charming, extremely clean and comfy. The linens and access to helpful kitchen items is a bonus. The ease of booking and gaining access waa seamless. The only little thing was that the sofa bed was in the same room with queen bed. We didnt need to use it but if our other guest had joined the trip it would have been difficult. The king and queen beds are very comfy. ”

“This home was in a perfect location. It is far enough away from the "busy" of Lexington but close enough to get where you needed to go easily. “The cabin was incredibly cute, clean, and well equipped. The snacks and T-shirts made arrival extra welcoming! The property was so much fun to relax on! We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the covered front porch every day. Our dogs enjoyed walking the grounds and hanging out with us in and around the cabin. Check in and check out were seamless and communication with the hosts was quick and easy. We thought we would go into Lexington or Louisville during this stay, but there were plenty of……

“We loved staying at Bourbon Barrel Cottages! It was a lovely getaway for us and our dog (yes, pet friendly!). Close to many distilleries but tucked away and peaceful. We enjoyed the hottub and fire pit each night and walking our dog every day. Looking forward to our next stay!”
