"Our family had a wondeful time relaxing in the hot tub, on the deck, and down by the river. Rooms and beds were comfortable and spacious. Had to bring our own awning to go over the hot tub, as it is out in the open. Not a bad thing to say about this rental, and if we do come back to the area, will definitely stay again."

"Harvest Moon is the perfect cottage for an unplugged weekend with your spouse. It is small, and on a non-motor lake- so if you’re looking for luxury on a party lake- this isn’t it. We enjoyed having coffee and watching fish jump and turtles swim by- it’s so quiet you can hear all types of birds, too. And there’s plenty to do in the area- great restaurants and breweries. If you’re up for fishing off the pier, kayaking and time spent around a campfire, you’ll love Harvest Moon."

"My husband and I had a very relaxing time at this historical cabin. It was perfect for what we needed and we slept really good. There was an issue with the shower head and when letting them know, they were right on it and the issue was resolved. We will come back the next time we visit family. Didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we hoped for due to bad weather but overall was perfect! Wonderful romantic getaway. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. "My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. We used the cottage as a home base while sightseeing and visiting family in the area. The kitchen is pretty small. It would be tough to cook for more than a few people here as counter space is very limited and there is no place, other than the fridge, to store any food. It wasn’t an issue for us as we dined out for all our meals. My husband had difficulty getting in and out of the front door as it is a rather large step. We had no problem at all parking...

"My uncle was upset that there was no tv. He complained about it all weekend. Even though we had cell phones to check the location of the tornados near our houses at home. He didn't miss an opportunity to complain that the listing didn't warn us there was no tv."

"Cute older home that has been updated by the owner. It was nice having a kitchen, living and dining area that allowed us space to relax when we weren't out and about. The bathroom and bedrooms were small, but that is to be expected in an older home. When things were brought to the attemtion of the property manager, they were addresed satisfactorily."

"Clean, quiet and comfortable. We were there for my mother's funeral and it was a peaceful retreat. The kids were disappointed that there was no tv, but everyone found other things to do. We will stay here again when we visit family again."
