The hotel staff I spoke to on the phone before arrival and all the staff came in contact with while there were polite, friendly and helpful. "Very historic hotel with a gorgeous room with sitting area, 4 poster king bed, soaking tub, and right on High street for convenience to everything. We also loved the plush robes they provided. Bill’s restaurant downstairs has wonderful food. The club downstairs does have cabaret live shows so we were “serenaded” each night. They don’t play too late and it didn’t interrupt our sleep. I’d highly recommend staying here for a luxurious stay in Guildford. 5 stars. "
