We had a lovely but tough walk up Box Hill via the stepping stones and a much easier walk back down. It's worth it for the views. We had a superb breakfast at the Dabbling Duck in Shere which was about a 20 min drive from the hotel but it was AMAZING

Was surprised how busy the place was and like most towns having to pay to park when your staying in such a nice location because there are no parking spaces left where you were, which why I suggest spaces should be reserved!

Didnt get to see much of it. Lovely pub up the drive, and beautiful villages around. Glorious nature.

Could be an option for getting in and out of the City of London with rail connections.

Didn't visit the town centre but the surrounding area was extremely pretty.

10/10 Excellent
"The location is fantastic—very walkable and close to everything while being safe and quiet. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the stay feel really welcoming. Clean amenities and excellent service all around. The only downside was the mattress—it was an older coil style and not the most comfortable for a good night’s sleep. That said, everything else was lovely, and I’d still happily stay here again for the great location and overall experience."
