“We’ve stayed at the Germantown Inn for the past three years and have always enjoyed it, and seeing Krissy, the friendly and knowledgeable innkeeper. We were sorry to see this year that the lovely afternoon charcuterie spread is no longer offered and the generous warm breakfast including homemade quiche is now a barebones collection of muffins and other empty carbs and a pot of coffee. “Close enough to Broadway to walk - 10-15 minutes. Clean, nicely decorated. Staff was always friendly. Not too much storage space but there was a couple drawers and a small area to hang clothes (this was out in the open near coffee bar). Toiletries provided in room; shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Lighted and magnifying mirror and a clothes steamer in the room. “Overall ok.
Good: The location was central and close to downtown. Check in simple and easy. Pool/spa and gym were nice amenities. 1 bedroom suite was spacious, had a balcony, and basic amenties.
Bad: I was placed in unit facing garage and had a garbage truck service that was at like 5:30am and was very loud (listed as soundproof rooms but not the case). I asked to get moved and was told I was “already upgraded” from a studio to 1 bedroom.
