“Not only was this the most relaxing family trip we have ever had , but so many fun things to do ! Lynn and her husband are amazing ! From giving us fresh chicken eggs to eat, letting us feed their adorable animals , getting to go fishing and ride their golf cart around , to the kids getting to swim in the pond! The place is wonderful and so adorable we literally were so sad to leave! Kids kept saying “why do we have to leave”” to “can we go back “ I could go on lol . You definitely will not……

“Think large fishing cabin. The cabin was well stocked. Plenty of towels, shampoo, and soap. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. There were a few bugs but it is out in the country. The dog next door was a bit intimidating. The place could use some upgrades but overall it was a good stay.”

“To start with, it seemed to us like this was the first time rental for this property and nothing was ready to have customers staying in the place. Things we found that should have been taken care of prior to guest arrival:Provide bathroom toiletries other than paper and hand sanitizer. Clean the hair and dust from the tubs and sinks. Master shower completely clogged up and did not drain until I poured Liquid Draino in the drain; which helped a bit. In the kitchen you needed to remove the……

“The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was from 6-9. At 8:15 no eggs and sausage left and the waffle machine was broken. So only a few continental items left our.”

“This is a $60 /night hotel that they are charging $115 /night. For starters, whoever is the maintenance person, thy need to be fired. the bathtub had a hole in the floor and all they did was put white duct tape over it useless!!!. Then thy must have remodeled the room but instead of using the same size sink, light fixtures, nightstand and toilet, they used smaller sizer but left the bolts and nails and wholes that the old fixtures caused exposed. On top of that the sheets and mattress covers……

“Very clean and tidy apartment. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Nice security being behind an electric gate, although it is a nice neighborhood. All of the appliances looked new, very clean. A person could easily walk to historic downtown to check out what it has to offer. The Hosts live on the premises, so it is easy to communicate with them. If a person is looking for a single room apartment to use for a bit, I don't think you could find a cleaner and nicer one than this. I will……

“Google street view helped us the most to find the house. It's back off of the main road so it wasn't obvious that we were in the right place, and we had to look around to find the correct opening in the fence to access the back of the property. The house is a cute, older, Southern cottage. The heat worked well and it was clean. I never had to contact the host, but I had their contact info and I knew they we nearby if I needed them. It was nice that it was back away from the main house. ”
