「The Ettington Park hotel is an extraordinary English Family Castle with a great & long history. Our stay in this hotel was extremely comfortable and relaxed. 「Awful. Aircon didn’t work and the window only opened a crack. Was reported but just got a stock response and no follow up. Beds were awful, sheets dirty, cleaners just basically half-straightened the sheets and stepped over the dirty towels leaving them. Furniture was broken, torn, cracked. No water pressure so a trickle of a shower, huddled behind a dirty shower curtain. An awful hotel.」

「Stunning building but the maintenance of it lets it down. The hostess at breakfast was very friendly and helpful, but the service itself was chaotic. They should be serving barista made drinks with breakfast rather than having queues at an instant machine. Some people were ordering from menus, others weren’t. The staff seemed very stressed. The room was basic but ok value for money. The spa treatment was the highlight」
