「To be perfectly honest when we entered the room we thought 😮 WOW !!! We should sleep like babies . . . The room was the size of a babies room and it may as well have been fitted with furniture from a small camper. We have stayed in nicer tents than this room! Description of the property was quite deceptive to say the least as well as the description of the surrounding area and availability of amenities and activities. Extremely disappointing and the price was absolutely ridiculous 😡」

「Nicely renovated art, deco style old hotel. The lobby was a little sparse, but I wasn’t really spending my time there anyway. Conveniently located right downtown and walking distance to some restaurants. The free parking available behind the hotel was wonderful!」

「The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.」

「I have never been to a hotel that didn’t have coffee for you in the morning- and this one didn’t.. also their eggs were dated to having been cooked 4 to 6 days prior.. we were told that the pool would be closed for the day and came back late as the pool closed to find out kids were in there swimming all day.. not so good experience.」
