「The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. 」

「Parking was a nightmare but soon sorted out. Service was above and beyond, owner driving around until he found a fish and chip shop open and bringing us back a lovely meal. Super breakfast with lots of choice.」

「So we stayed at the st Pierre hotel, it was five minute walk to the new miller dam , we loved the hotel for its value for money , room was clean and hotel was also , Elmo does a great cooked breakfast and we could choose what we wanted , the staff were very friendly , and we above and beyond to help . 」

「Clean and tidy rooms, very spacious with great pillows and a very comfortable bed. The large smart TV was an added welcome bonus. Our rom location meant we could hear loud noise coming from outside the building, but you could hardly hear it if the windows were shut. Staff seemed friendly and were able to accommodate our early check in. 8/10」

「The staff are always welcoming from day one. We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and found it a very enjoyable experience. There has been the odd little glitch but rectified right away. The only one problem we found that if you don't want to use your car and want to use the bus service you have to walk into barnsley interchange to go anywhere its a 20 minute walk across a very busy roundabout and road. The rooms are always very clean and tidy but still an excellent place to stay. 」

「We received a very friendly welcome when we booked in, quite late at night. The room was clean, though a bit hot despite the window being left ajar and the snow outside. Plumbing worked OK, though I couldn't take down the shower head, which was way above my head and appeared to be a bit stuck.」
