「The cottage was spotless, in a perfect location, and check-in was super easy. Margaret was a fantastic host—her communication was fast and helpful every step of the way. The beds were very comfortable, and the cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.We especially loved the screened-in porch, the fire pit, and listening to the stream and sounds of nature. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we needed to unwind. We’re already looking forward to coming back! We rate it 10 out of 10!」

「We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. 」

「Everything you need for a fun stay less than 15miles from State College!We stayed for graduation weekend and loved the rustic decor of the Cabin, the scenic drive through the state park and the cozy quiet of the surrounding forrest. AT&T service was strong, definitely read the drive in and out recommendations of an SUV or a pick up truck. The owner was hospitable with providing snacks, waters and was very responsive and pleasant. We would stay at this property again. 」

「If you have the opportunity to stay here, highly recommend it. The place is so cute and comfy. There’s a lot nearby within driving distance and if you want to take a drive to Penn all the better. We really loved this stay for our anniversary and happy with it.」

「We spent two nights to enjoy a full day in the state forests. The cabin was very clean. It's exactly as pictured. A small space with a couple beds and a table. The showers are a 2-3 minute walk from the cabin, or a shorter drive. The check-in/check-out process was very easy.」

「We absolutely loved our stay and will be returning! The house is beautiful, very clean, with plenty of space! The deck is a perfect place to relax. No neighbors so kids can have fun without being worried about bothering anyone. The host was wonderful to work with and did everything to ensure our stay was exactly what we needed’ I highly recommend booking this property! 」

「The cabin was the perfect size for our group and only a short drive to State College for Graduation weekend activities. The cabin was nicely equipped for a weekend and very clean when we checked in. This was our second time staying at Hartman Campground and we would definitely stay there again.」
