"clean room the view was amazing"

"This is an older property but it is clean and has a historic feel to it. Check in was easy and the front desk staff friendly and helpful. We arrived on Thursday and left early on Friday. It wasn’t until Sunday that we realized , as we were heading back home, that we left a good amount of cash in the room safe. Since we were passing through Reno again, we took a chance and stopped off at the hotel, hoping, but not expecting, that we would get the contents back. We explained the situation to the front desk person who was very helpful. He took all the information down and said I would be contacted by the manager the next day. I received the call the next day and was told that they did have the safe contents and arrangements were made to have it FedExed to me. I received the contents this morning, earlier than expected. While this property is not glitzy or new, it is clean, comfortable, and cozy. I would certainly stay here again if I were to be in the Reno area again."

"Unfortunately, your front desk people need to know how to turn on a smile. They're like robots, no personality no customer service skills. I went over to Cal Neva to go look at the place that I haven't been in for years. You guys need to go and look and set an example of how they treat you."

"Don't use the check in kiosks - the key dispenser will not work. Better to wait in line. If you book on Expedia and select "room with view" it may be a view of a plaster wall. Casino is super smokey despite all filters. Room service is decent. Gym is decent. Oddly enough I was given an ADA room that was about a 2 minute walk from the closest elevator. While I didn't need it, I thought it was quite odd that the room was so far away. Valet process is strange; you have to get a new ticket everyday and tell the valet your last name, every day. I stayed here because of convenience but in the future would opt for a normal hotel sans casino."
