“Our stay was amazing! We were in and out, staying just one night, but loved our stay at The Whale on Main. Thomas was an amazing host, he walked us through where to go in town and what to see. And as we were leaving, he helped us plan the path we should take to our next destination. He even printed out a map for us that included all the stops! I would absolutely recommend staying here for a wonderful visit to Hermanus.”

“Clean rooms, kitchen facilities were good as we arrived on Christmas Day so nothing was open. Glad to be able to cook a meal for my family on this day. Hot tub was a lovely touch. “Absolutely stunning place to stay. Our bedroom view was of the whole of Gordon’s bay. Superbly comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was a feast with perfectly poached eggs, sides, avocado, croissants, etc! Ate way too much!!! Add to that just how wonderfully welcoming and attentive our hosts were. More than that, they also gave excellent advice on our planned excursions. They love this area and want you to love it too! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. ”
