「Wonderful place to stay. Away from the main road so nice and quiet. Staff amazingly friendly.」

「The lodge was excellent the staff super friendly ,the breakfast was excellent the pool was perfect to relax at .The ocean walk is just moments away and the walk into Hermanus was stunning .Whales were everywhere we were there in Oct .Hermanus was a perfect coastal get away」

「The staff were really friendly and helpful even before we arrived. The secure parking area was a bonus! Our room had a great view of the ocean and was even bigger than expected. It was the perfect location for exploring the old harbour. Highly recommend booking here!」

「Lovely quiet location with Friendly staff 」

「The hotel was truly wonderful. The breakfast was a fantastic presentación. The view over the océan from every where. Bed and shower. This was our fist experiencia in a Boutique hotel. The staff made every detail perfect. An experience we will always remember. Joyous and comforting」

「Sehr nette Inhaber, haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt 」

「What made our stay truly memorable was the sincere hospitality — the staff greeted us warmly and attentively from the start. Every breakfast was flavorful, fresh, and skillfully presented.」

「Har inget att klaga på. Ett trevligt boende med vacker utsikt.」

「Very welcoming staff -- breakfast was one of the best I've had.」

「Our stay at Birkenhead House was the ultimate Hermanus retreat. From the warm, attentive team to the eclectic design and breathtaking floral displays, every detail left us feeling spoiled. Ideally situated steps from the beach and scenic walking routes, it was a paradise for nature lovers—complete with dozens of whale sightings, rich birdlife, and the striking indigenous flora of the Western Cape.」
